Giandomenico Basso victorious in Rome

The Italian Giandomenico Basso will arrive in Madeira pumped after a victory this weekend at the Rally di Roma Capitale, an event counting for the Italian Rally Championship and the ERC. Driving a Skoda Fabia R5 prepared by the Loran team, the driver, who has won the Rali Vinho da Madeira four times, was on the top places right from the beginning of the rally and led the competition, which took place in the province of Lazio, for the last 13 of 16 stages of the  event. At this rally, Basso had this almost error-free participation in an evern very well known for challenges and at one time had an advantage of almost 50 seconds over the next contender. The driver navigated by Lorenzo Granai lost about half of that advantage by an error at a crossing but ended with 23.3 seconds advantage over the second classified.  Basso was "extremely happy after a hard weekend. This was an important victory and that motivates us even more to the rest of the season "

Fuel voucher distribution
The teams entered in the Madeira Island Tour - Historic Rally will receive a €75 fuel Voucher to be redeemable at the REPSOL Fuel Stations. The Voucher will be available for pickup, along with the remainder competitor material on Thursday, July 18th  2019, at the headquarters of the Club Sports da Madeira, Avenida Arriaga, 43, from 10:00 to 15:00 hours.

Presentation of RALIVM 2019 Entrants

The Organising Committee of the Rali Vinho Madeira is pleased to invite all media to publicise the list of contenders entered for the commemorative 60th edition of the rally. As is tradition, this event will take place at the headquarters of the Empresa de Cervejas da Madeira (ECM), at 17:30 hours, next Monday, July 15. It will be two and a half weeks before the rally hits the road. ECM is one of the oldest sponsors of RaliVM and through it's brand Coral, names the Madeira Rally Championship "Coral". Welcome to RALIVM 2019!

RALI VINHO MADEIRA HAS ALREADY 58 TEAMS SIGNED UP

17 cars are R5 After the conclusion of the first stage of enrollment, which ended on the 2nd of July, there were 58 teams that turned in their paperwork at the Rali Vinho Madeira rally office. In this first stage of registrations, the drivers benefited from a discount when submitting their applications.  Forty-one Entries are from Madeira and 17 are from outside of the region. Seventeen was the number of R5 cars that formalized their application. Until the 15th of July, the RVM Commission is accepting subscriptions for the 60th edition of Rally which will take place on 1st, 2nd an 3rd of August.

Discounted Entry Fee until July 2nd

Teams wishing to benefit from a discount on the value of the entry fee for RALIVM2019 have until July 2 to register. From that date on, and until July 15, it is still possible to register, however, no you longer benefit from a reduction in the amount payable. Competitors who are interested should formalize the registration online up to 17:00 hours, local time, of July 2.  

Volta à Ilha da Madeira – Historic Rally

Registration must be completed by July 11th     The event is divided into two categories, Regulated Historic and Regulated Sport Plus. The entire registration process for the evocative event which launched the internationalization of Motorsports in Madeira, should be dealt at the Secretariat of the RVM, located at 53 Rua dos Aranhas, Second Floor, Room F.
