Alex Español, in a Peugeot 208 Rally4, continues to lead the standings reserved for two-wheel drive users, a category monopolized by competitors in the Peugeot Rally Cup Ibérica. The Spanish driver holds a 10-second lead over Portuguese driver Guilherme Meireles, in an identical car. Also in Peugeot Rally Cup cars, Spaniards Giovanni Fariña and Iago Gabeiras follow in the immediate positions, 10.9 and 13.9 seconds behind, respectively. Vasco D. Silva and his Renault Clio Rally4, with complaints about his car, is fifth, 19.2 seconds behind the leader.

Filipe Freitas, driving a Porsche 991 GT3, is leading the RGT competitors midway through the second day of competition of Rali da Madeira. He holds a 4.1-second lead over Paulo Mendes, who uses the Porsche 992 GT3 he debuted in this event a year ago. Third in this group is occupied by Belgian Joachim Wagemans, driving an Alpine A110 RGT, over a minute behind the leader. Immediately behind, but far behind, are Miguel Andrade and Paulo Carvalheiro, both in Porsche 991 GT3s.

Diego Ruiloba leads Rali da Madeira after the completion of the second section of the event, which included the first Special Stage through Campo de Golfe, Palheiro Ferreiro, and Santana. The Spanish driver, driving a Citroën C3 Rally2, was the only driver to win two Special Stages in this event organised by Club Sports da Madeira and currently holds a 1.5-second lead over the rest of the field. Madeiran João Silva remains in second place, having overtaken the leader in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2. Not far behind, 2.7 seconds behind the leader, Kris Meeke, in another Toyota, is third and has an 8.8-second lead over the fourth-place finisher, Italian Simone Campedelli in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2. In another car from the Czech brand, Miguel Nunes is fifth, just a tenth behind the Italian. Armindo Araújo is sixth in a car identical to the two competitors ahead of him in the standings. Miguel Caires, with problems with his car, is seventh, 2.6 seconds ahead of José Pedro Fontes in a Citroën C3 Rally2. Alexandre Camacho and Dani Sordo, both in Hyundai i20N Rally2, round out the top ten in the overall standings. The caravan for this event, which has been on the road since yesterday and ends tomorrow afternoon, now heads to Funchal to regroup and head to the service park. The afternoon will see the completion of Section 3, the second run through the Special Stages contested in the morning.

Diego Ruiloba, behind the wheel of a Citroën C3 Rally2, is the third leader of Rali da Madeira after the three first Special Stages are over. The Spanish driver was the fastest in the first passage through Palheiro Ferreiro, the longest special stage of the event, and now has an advantage of 0,2 seconds for the Madeiran driver João Silva who, at the wheel of a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, lead the Club Sports da Madeira organisation after the previous Special Stage. In another Toyota, the British Kris Meeke is third to just 1,1 seconds of the leader. Simone Campedelli and Miguel Nunes, both in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, are still in the top five. The carvan of Rali da Madeira heads now to the north of the Island, to the Special Stage in Santana.
