RVM 2024 - Information

During SS 13 - Ponta do Sol 2, in Carvalhal area, car no. 30 crashed. Three spectators were injured. The emergency services were immediately called and arrived quickly. The injured were assessed by the doctor who was at the scene and others who had been deployed from the race and from EMIR, which was nearby. They were sent to hospital, which was on standby to receive them as a precaution. As soon as we have more information, it will be published. In the race, the drivers who had not yet left took an alternative route to the next special stage. Those who were in the race continued and those who were held up will make the connection to the next SS.

Diego Ruiloba always at the front of Rali Vinho da Madeira

Rali Vinho da Madeira is one section away from the end, but emotions are still running high in the event that has been on the road since last Thursday, 1st August. Miguel Nunes, driving his usual Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, is fifth. Rali Vinho da Madeira finishes this afternoon with the prize-giving ceremony at 6.30pm, after another round through Câmara de Lobos, Ponta do Sol, Calheta and Rosário.

Rui Jorge Fernandes is the leader on two-wheel drive

At the wheel of a Renault Clio Rally4, Rui Jorge Fernandes maintains his dominance among front-wheel drive users. The Auto Cam driver has a lead of more than a minute in the category. His rival in an identical car, Vasco Silva, had a puncture in Câmara de Lobos and is now third in this division, where he has fallen to fourth place. Among these competitors is Hugo Lopes, driving a Peugeot 208 Rally4.
