"City of Funchal" is the name adopted in 2024 for the traditional Avenida do Mar Super-Special Stage, a Special Stage that brings plenty of excitement to the downtown area, which has hosted the event organised by the Club Sports Madeira since 1959. It's a special stage designed for exhibition purposes, with several roundabouts, 90-degree turns, and several chicanes to slow competitors down.
