José Camacho is Master Champion
Celebrating his 40th birthday, this being his 41st consecutive participation in Rali da Madeira, José Camacho became the archipelago's first Master champion. In this category, designed for drivers over 50, the Skoda Fabia R5 driver consistently led the way and finished 23.1 seconds ahead of the second-place finisher.
That position went to Paulo Mendes and his Porsche 992 GT3, which had dropped slightly in the standings at the end of the first stage. The lowest spot on the podium went to Rui Pinto in a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo, 46.8 seconds behind the winner. The top five also included Filipe Freitas and Miguel Andrade, both in Porsche 991 GT3s.
