João Silva, behind the wheel of a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, is the new leader of Rali da Madeira, after the end of the first Special stage and second day of the competition.

The Madeiran driver was the best in Campo de Golfe 1 and has now an advantage of 1,1 seconds for the Spanish Diego Ruiloba, with a Citroën C3 Rally2, who is the second in this special stage.

The third fastest in the race so far is Kris Meeke, also in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, in the lowest podium place at the moment just 1,3 seconds of the leader and two-tenths-of-a-second of the driver behind him. The leader after the first day of the competition, Simone Campedelli, with a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, is now fourth and Miguel Nunes, in a similar vehicle, is right behind him.
