At 40 years of age, Sandro Teixeira made his rally debut in 2022 with a Toyota Yaris. Later that year, he switched to a Citroën C2 R2, which he used until the end of last season. This season he is at the wheel of a Peugeot 208 Rally4 and leads the Madeira championship for two-wheel drive vehicle users.
