Developing and putting on a show
Ricardo Teodósio sets off for another Rali da Madeira with the aim of "finishing as far ahead as possible. However, this will be a test of hard work. We will be using new tyres and new compounds and will have a Hankook engineer working with us. The work we do will result in new tyres being used in many countries. Of course, all of this can affect our performance, either positively or negatively. However, putting on a show is one of my trademarks, and I will do my best to please the large Madeiran audience, which includes many friends and countless die-hard fans.”
Teodósio is 49 years old and made his rally debut in 2001 with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo III. He used models from the three-diamond brand for many years and, during that period, won the Southern Regional Championship title in 2010 and 2011. In 2019, he switched to Rally2 cars and was three times national champion, in 2019 with a Skoda Fabia R5, in 2021 with a Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo and in 2023 with a Hyundai i20N Rally2. In 2025, he is at the wheel of a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 and is fourth in the Portuguese Rally Championship.
