“Rally Talks” kick off tomorrow at Plaza Madeira

Tomorrow at 6 p.m., Plaza Madeira will host the launch of “Rally Talks,” an initiative that aims to raise awareness of motor sports from different perspectives. The theme of the first session will be “What is the role of the navigator in rallies?”, a conversation that promises to talk about the role of the co-driver inside and outside the competition.
The role of the navigator may vary depending on the structure of each team, but there are fundamental skills that are common to all: conducting reconnaissance, reading the roadbook, filling out the control card and mastering the rules of the sport.
To talk to us about this topic, we will be joined by Luís Rodrigues, co-driver for João Silva, and Tiago Fernandes, co-driver for Vasco Silva.
The discussion will be moderated by Duarte Lagos, an expert in the world of rallying, with extensive experience as a co-driver, RTP Madeira journalist and, in recent years, responsible for relations with competitors in the organisation of Rali da Madeira.
