Rali da Madeira now has an official mascot. His name is Zeca and he was created by the sculptor Ricardo Veloza. The figure takes its name from and pays homage to Zeca Cunha, the first driver from Madeira to win the race, in 1965 at the wheel of a Triumph TR4. Zeca will now become part of the imagery surrounding this legendary motorsport event and will feature on much of the event’s merchandise, which, from this year onwards, will be available to the rally’s die-hard fans and for all related collections.
