Rali da Madeira kicks off tomorrow with the initial administrative and technical checks. Administrative checks—where all documents regarding the competitors' participation are reviewed—will take place between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM at Praça CR7. Meanwhile, the initial technical checks—a session where scrutineers verify the vehicles' compliance with their homologation papers and roadworthiness—will occur between 2:15 PM and 7:00 PM at Pier 6 of the Port of Funchal.

Both administrative and technical checks are typically attended in person by many fans of the sport. This gives them the chance to get up close not only to the drivers and co-drivers who will be thrilling the crowds on Madeira’s roads over the next three days, but also to the machines that captivate with their sound and speed.

Tomorrow, July 29^th, competitors will have reconnaissance runs on the Palheiro Ferreiro, Ribeiro Frio, Chão da Lagoa, and Cidade do Funchal special stages.
