The 2026 Rali da Madeira Edition reaffirms its commitment to environmental protection by implementing an Environmental Sustainability Plan. This plan brings together a series of measures designed to prevent, minimize, and monitor the environmental impacts associated with the event.

Key planned actions include enhanced waste segregation and selective collection in high-traffic areas, the installation of "eco-islands" (waste sorting stations) in the Service Park, the mandatory use of environmental mats to protect the ground, the provision of spill containment equipment, and indicative noise level monitoring.

The plan also covers fire prevention measures, enhanced cleaning and hygiene in the areas used, environmental awareness campaigns for the public and campers, and the collection of course-marking tape, plastic sleeves, signage, and other temporary materials after the event concludes—prioritizing reuse whenever possible.
