A mere 9.0 seconds behind the leader, Pedro Câmara, in an identical car, has gradually been adapting to the Madeiran tarmac; he was the fastest in several special stages and even came close to the category leader. Among the top five in this category – which comprises only teams driving that particular model from the Peugeot brand – the immediate runners-up are Ukrainian Anton Korzun and Madeiran drivers Sandro Teixeira and Martim Nunes.
