The deadline for entries for Rali da Madeira – an event organised since 1959 by Club Sports da Madeira and which will take place this year between 30th July and 1st August – is today, 13th July, at 5.00 pm. The sporting programme kicks off with the shakedown, taking place in Cardais on the morning of Thursday 30 July, the same day as the event’s first Special Stage, the Funchal City super-special, at 7.30 pm. In between, the start ceremony will take place at 4.00 pm on the podium set up in Praça do Povo.

The rally returns to the road on the morning of Friday 31 July for a double run through the timed stages of Santo da Serra and Palheiro Ferreiro, interspersed with a visit to the service park, which is once again located on Avenida Sá Carneiro. In the afternoon, there will be a double run through Santana, with a section through Ribeiro Frio between these two special stages. Saturday, 1st  August, begins with Chão da Lagoa, followed by two runs at Ponta do Sol, Ponta do Pargo and Lameiros. The event concludes with the prize-giving ceremony at 7.30 pm on the podium.
