João Silva, in a Toyota GR Yaris Rally2, was the fastest driver on the second run through Campo de Golf, closing his gap to race leader Diego Ruiloba, in a Citroën C3 Rally2, to 0.8 seconds. Third-placed British driver Kris Meeke, in another Toyota, finished fourth in this first Special Stage of Section 3, seeing Simone Campedelli, driving a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, close the gap by 1.3 seconds. Miguel Nunes, also driving a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2, finished fifth in the Special Stage and maintained his position in the overall standings. The competitors now head to the second run through Palheiro Ferreiro and Santana.
