At 21.02 km, this is the rally's longest stage. Road ER 201—commonly known as “Caminho dos Pretos”—is the "cathedral" of Madeiran rallying; in the past, few events failed to include it in their itineraries. It is run as an uphill climb between Palheiro Ferreiro and Terreiro da Luta, featuring a layout that blends—almost perfectly—fast sections with technical ones, as well as the now-famous jump near the Madeira Stadium. After Terreiro da Luta, the route continues with the climb to the Chão da Lagoa South Gate, passes through the Funchal Ecological Park, and includes the fast descent from the Chão da Lagoa North Gate to Poiso. In 2026, the route continues straight on toward Santo da Serra for approximately another 2.5 km.
